I was born (1997) and brought up in Kudal, Maharashtra where I completed my secondary education. During childhood, I was fond of cricket and maths. My higher secondary education has been in Pune, Maharashtra, where my interest in maths matured and developed a second love for electronics which now is maturing into MEMS. I hold an integrated bachelor's and master's degree from IIT Bombay and a doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering from KU Leuven, Belgium. My PhD research focused on developing flexible Piezoelectric Micromachined Ultrasonic Transducers (PMUTs) towards imaging applications. This research made me passionate about advancing wearable ultrasound technology through piezo-MEMS innovation. With experience in piezoelectric thin film development, PMUT design, fabrication, and characterization towards imaging, I am eager to explore further new opportunities in piezo-electric thin films, MEMS fabrication, wearable sensors, ultrasound imaging, and associated electronics. In my free time, I enjoy listening to (indian) classical music and practicing the Indian percussion drum, Tabla.

Research Interests

I am passionate about advancing wearable ultrasound technology through piezo-MEMS innovation. With experience in piezoelectric thin film development, PMUT design, fabrication, and characterization towards imaging, I am eager to explore further new opportunities in piezo-electric thin films, MEMS fabrication, wearable sensors, ultrasound imaging, and associated electronics.
